Pumpkins

So Parlee Farms was having " $20 all you can carry pumpkins" so we went. Saturday was the day, it was beautiful...the sun was out and the leaves were bright. We get there and there weren't that many people, I guess most people get there pumpkins early. So we go and pick out our pumpkins, Lauren gets to ride...nice.

Dad has to carry the pumpkins...all 8 of them! Ok...so it's only 4 big and 4 small. He was still loaded up...yet they already started unloading him by the time I got my camera out. You did good dad!

I just love family time and we have got to do so much of it while up here in Massachusetts...life is good!

We got BOO-ed!

The cutest ever! We got BOO-ed! You get a little something from someone, in turn you do the same for two other people. Such a nice and thoughtful thing, Marek absolutely loved it! We are on the hunt, Happy Halloween to who ever we BOO!

No training wheels!

So today turned out to be a nice day after all, which means that we got to go outside and play while Lauren took her nap. So I'm out side talking with the neighbors and Marek decides to pick up the neighbors bike, get on it (it has not training wheels) and balance. After about a few minutes of balancing he peddles off!

My neighbor is like...Marek's riding the bike...I was excited but didn't want to get to excited and make him fall. Awesome! So he peddled around a few more times...another neighbor even gave him a smaller bike to practice on for the next few days and then we'll take the training wheels off his and see what happens. How exciting!

I do feel bad that daddy missed this experience...he was so sweet when he got home, he gave Marek hugs and kisses and told him he was proud of him...how sweet! They grow up so fast...my big boy... I am so proud of you and enjoy everything you experience! Thank you for being you!

She comes by it honestly!

So this morning Lauren decided she wanted her tooth brush, I gave it to her thinking she was going to brush her teeth which she did. I just didn't know the rest of the story. So I left her in the bathroom to do something in the kitchen, god knows what. Suddenly I hear the toilet seat hit the tank, thinking nothing of it for the moment. Then I realized...shit, she's in the toilet...damn, she has her tooth brush...crap, I hope she's not brushing her teeth with the tooth brush. I run in, and her tooth brush is wet...more that mouth wet...toilet bowl water wet! YUCK!

So the coming by it honestly part is that when I was young I use to use my Aunt's tooth brush to clean her toilet. I don't really remember that part but everyone says it happened...who me... no way! Needless to say, my Aunt had a lot of tooth brushes hanging around. So I'm just waiting for the day that she uses my tooth or someone to clean toilets. Gotta love it!

Lauren's Psy Assessment today

Lauren had her Psychological Assessment today, it went very well. Her Dr. was Karen Lavine @ Helping Children w Challenges; she was awesome and I would totally recamend her to everyone! She was given a diagnosis on the very mild end of the Autism spectrum, NOT AUTISM! So this means she has some things but to nothing major that can't be worked on to remove the diagnosis in the next six months or so.

With this she will get so many benefits from the state until they are no longer needed (like Early Intervention and Building Blocks). Then the school system and other programs will pick up where the current one's leave off because of her turning 3 next year.

All I can do is smile :)
